USGBC NevadaHumann Building Solutions, LLC‘s Principal will attend as part of his desire to support and provide ongoing commitment to USGBC Nevada’s 2nd Annual Green Gala will be one of the awardee presenters for the event. Daniel Huard as USGBC Nevada President provided “I am honored to have been selected by Green Building Professionals of the State of Nevada to lead and represent them this year as President of USGBC Nevada. Giving back and recognizing efforts is one of the ways that we get to thank and acknowledge those who contribute to the forward momentum of the Green Building movement so I was thrilled to be able to contribute to the concept of the Green Gala. I was so engaged in the inaugural Green Gala that I even served as the Master of Ceremonies for the event.”

Humann Building Solutions, LLC. in its ongoing commitment to USGBC again was early to commit to supporting the event via the purchase of a table for the event as well as provided donation’s to the USGBC Nevada Chapter to show their steadfast support of the organization’s efforts.

Daniel has been active in Green Building for over 25 years, with an ongoing commitment to mentoring, service and leadership contributing to National Fenestration Rating Council as their 2017 and 2018 Board of Directors Vice Chair and Governance Chair, IWBI, ASHRAE, Association of Energy Engineers, USGBC’s LEED Technical Committee, USGBC Water Efficiency Technical Advisory Group as their 2018 Committee Chair, former – USGBC Western Regional Council Chairperson, USGBC Nevada President, and as well founded the Las Vegas Valley Living Building Challenge Collaborative serving as Nevada’s ILFI Ambassador. As a former League of Indian Nations of North America Ambassador to the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, Daniel focused on international sustainability programs, social and educational programs and native rights recognition and advocacy.
